General

  • These Terms of Use may change from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and your use of the eLearning space after such changes have been posted will constitute your agreement to the modified Terms of Use and all of the changes.

Proprietary Rights

  • This eLearning space is maintained by the eCampus Team and is owned by Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S).
  • The materials available on this eLearning space, including the information and software programmes (i.e. the content), are protected by copyright, trademark and other forms of proprietary rights. All rights, title and interest in the content are owned by, licensed to or controlled by ARC(S).

Use of Services

  • You may (a) access and view the content on the eLearning space via your computer or other devices and (b) download any of the content displayed and identified on the site as available for downloading, solely for your own lawful, non-commercial or personal use, provided that you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the content.
  • We cannot guarantee that access to the course materials will be uninterrupted. However, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to make the eLearning space available 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week, except for:
    • planned downtime, of which at least eight (8) hours’ notice will be given and all users will be informed as soon as possible; or
    • any unavailability caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including without limitation, natural disasters, acts of government, fire, civil unrest, acts of terror, strikes or other labour problems (other than those involving ARC(S)/Pathlight School employees), or Internet service provider failures or delays.

Currency of Materials

  • All course content is created in accordance with the current syllabi, and reasonable efforts are made to ensure that the materials are updated promptly.
  • Except as specifically provided for by law, ARC(S) does not give any warranties, whether expressed or implied as to the currency or quality of the course materials or that the course materials are free from error or defect.

Third Party Links

  • The course materials may contain hyperlinks to other websites. Unless expressly stated, these websites are not under the control of ARC(S), and ARC(S) assumes no responsibility for the content of such websites and disclaim liability for any and all forms of loss or damage arising from the use of them.
  • The inclusion of a hyperlink to another website within the course materials does not imply any endorsement of the websites themselves or of those in control of them.

Restrictions on Use of Materials

  • Your use of the eLearning space does not grant to you ownership of any of the content. Except as stated herein, none of the content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means without the prior written permission of authorised personnel of ARC(S), its licensors or the otherwise applicable rights holders.
  • Modification of any of the content or use of the content for any other purpose will be a violation of ARC(S)'s copyright and other intellectual property rights. Subscription Credentials and Security

  • You are solely responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. ARC(S) will not be liable for any loss that is incurred if your account is used by someone else to access the services, either with or without your knowledge.
  • ARC(S) reserves the right to deny or restrict access to this eLearning space to any particular person, or to block access from a particular external address to this eLearning space, at any time, without ascribing any reason whatsoever.

Limitation of Liability

  • ARC(S) shall also not be liable for any damage or loss of any kind caused as a result (direct or indirect) of the use of this eLearning space, including but not limited to, any damage or loss suffered as a result of reliance on the content contained in or available from the eLearning space.

Governing Law

  • These Terms of Use shall be governed and construed in accordance with laws of the Republic of Singapore.
